Libby Kahn: “Tri-Loom Weaving” ($40.00/person per day)
The legendary Libby Kahn is back this year with her Tri-loom workshop. She will be at the workshop both Friday and Saturday.
- A 6 foot tri-loom piece will take two full days (Makes a full size women’s shawl) – Requires a stand. A 6′ tri-loom will take 3 and 1/2 skeins of yarn, apprximately 409 feet with fringe.
- A 4 foot tri-loom piece will take 6+ hours to weave (makes a nice neck scarf or a child’s shawl) A 4′ tri-loom will take a skein of yarn approximately 120 yards, which might have enough for a fringe.
- Purchase your looms ahead of time at the Woolery: Order a loom from the Woolery before the Festival (4′ ~ $160.00; 6′ ~ $230.00)
- Purchase at the Festival, a 2 week pre-registration is required:
Jennifer Garcia: “Needle Felting” – 5″ Long Bunny ($40) – Supplies included
Jennifer is a skilled artist with Needle Felting. We look forward to Jennifer being with us on Saturday, April 29, 2017.
Ann Mikeal: “Know Your Fleece” – $50/person learn at least ten different breeds by site and touch.
Ann Mikeal: “Learn to Drop Spindle” ($35/person with spindle included – $30/person if you bring your own spindle) Learn the basics, including plying.
Ann Mikeal: “Dryer Balls” ($25/person) includes everything to make four dryer balls. (Will need to finish at home in personal washer/dryer)
The wonderful, talented, and expert fiber artist is back again this year to share her expertise in natural fibers, wool, and her love for fiber. Ann and her team will be here both Friday and Saturday of the Festival.
